MISSION STATEMENT

Ruby Gives Hope, foundation founded by Ruby Gettinger from the highly successful and award-winning “Ruby” television series on the Style Network.

As countless people worldwide discovered while watching the show and continue to watch my new show “The Ruby Show'' at FarmDaze Productions, I have a deep desire to help people who need inspiration, direction, and hope due to emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical struggles. It is the goal of Ruby Gives Hope to provide these individuals with a better future by showing them that they are seen and heard.

But the vision of Ruby Gives Hope goes far beyond simply providing the unseen and unheard with needed attention and care. Having witnessed so many lives changed over the years, it is my dream to build the Ruby Retreat Center. A place with open arms, lots of love, and no judgment. A place where their spirit can be free and they will no longer feel the need to hide.

The retreat center will be a place of healing for the abused, those chained to addiction, or people struggling due to other crossroads in their life. The Ruby Retreat Center will be a place they can feel loved and truly know their worth.

I have always believed in the impossible.  I have a love for people and am drawn to those who society doesn't consider “the norm.”

After sponsoring several events, including Ruby Walks, Real Time with Ruby, Ruby Bootcamps, and Ruby Retreats, I have seen firsthand that so many people feel hopeless, defeated, and lonely with no will to survive. As a result, I began to mentor and coach people of all ages to find the hope necessary to overcome their struggles. Many of these individuals faced mental and physical abuse, disease, and numerous types of addiction. But I discovered that no matter the issues they were facing, most had three things in common: feeling hopeless, feeling unwanted, and lacking the will to live.

It is the mission of Ruby Gives Hope to invest time with individuals to find the root of their problem. While providing abundant time and support to help them envision a beautiful future and empowering them to make it happen, Ruby Gives Hope will create an atmosphere of unconditional love in a safe environment.  Thereby providing the three greatest things a person needs to heal and thrive: hope, faith, and love.

I have found that when provided with love and acceptance (often for the first time), individuals can admit and face their darkest secrets and fears. They are finally able to confront the ghosts of their past that have led to a mindset that says: “I am a failure” or “I am horrible.”

At the Ruby Retreats, attendees will be taught that hopeless thoughts can be overcome. I will teach them strategies to turn negative thought patterns into positive ones and how to retrain their minds to generate positivity and healing in place of negativity and pain.

I wholly believe: “As a man thinks, so he is.”  

Ruby Gives Hope focuses on exactly what the name implies: hope.  Hope decreases anxiety and instills the ability to face and overcome one’s demons. It is with this goal in mind that I am asking for your help to be able to offer three to four-day retreats to many more people in need, including those who can’t afford expensive therapy due to a lack of disposable income. Many victims of lifelong abuse suffer from extreme anxiety which makes it difficult to seek or afford help, particularly in a retreat setting. The retreats can change that.

Here is where you can help!  By partnering with Ruby Gives Hope, you can help people find the root of their issues and give them the tools they need to begin a new life. You can equip them to overcome their issues and experience the healing power of hope, faith, and love. They will leave a Ruby Retreat believing they are worthy, loved, and ready to change their lives.

Ruby Gives Hope is asking you for any donation you can give to build a facility where people of all ages can find hope. Whether you can give a monetary donation, building materials, auction items, or sponsor the fees for a retreat attendee, etc., please give from your heart so others can experience the hope, faith, and love they so desperately need.  Until the facility is built, I will continue to host retreats in various locations carrying love and support to those in need.

Hope, faith, and love are the most powerful forces in the world. No matter your situation, they give you the strength to keep going. With your help, I want everyone to leave a Ruby Retreat feeling loved beyond what they have ever imagined.
