For far too long, people have turned a blind eye to the suffering of others, choosing to ignore the mental and physical abuse endured by both children and adults. They have closed their ears to the cries and screams, and they choose to remain silent, whether out of fear or a reluctance to get involved. I refuse to accept this, not only for the sake of the victims but for the victims today and hopefully together stop others from becoming future victims. It's time for visibility, for voices to be heard, and for the silent rage within to be released and cry out. When you break free, you shed the shackles of bondage and find freedom.
